Plain Text content is parsed into a unified millisecond timeline before being exported as Advanced SubStation Alpha. Valid timing and subtitle text are preserved.
ASS output uses a compatible ASS v4+ default style while preserving subtitle text and timing.
TXT has no timeline, so every non-empty text line is assigned five seconds by default.

Source file format
TXT is a plain-text file rather than a dedicated subtitle format with a standardized timeline. It usually stores subtitle, dialogue, or lyric text without information about when each line appears.
Target file format
ASS, or Advanced SubStation Alpha, is an enhanced successor to SSA. It can precisely control subtitle fonts, colors, positions, animation, and karaoke effects.
